Our proven process

For best results, fogging services should be in addition to your regular cleaning and disinfection practices. By utilising a proven action plan of cleanse + disinfect + sanitise (fog), surfaces can be efficiently sanitised preventing the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses.

IMPORTANT

Fogging is not considered effective unless the premises and or facility has been thoroughly cleaned to remove the dirt and grime and dust, directly prior.

FAQ'S

What is fogging

Applying specialised sanitisation products to production areas as fogs or mists is a method used routinely in the food industry. The purpose is to create and disperse a vapor to reduce the numbers of airborne micro-organisms and to apply sanitiser to surfaces that may be difficult to reach.

Our solution is delivered using a mobile system that provides maximum coverage and efficiency, supersaturating the atmosphere with a sanitisation fog; covering a vast area of surfaces and hard to reach locations.

Where can SAO fogging be used

SAO fogging is suitable for a vast range of industries sectors from schools and universities to ferry terminals, laboratories and medical precincts. Used in a variety of different applications, including:

  • All-surfaces

  • Flooring & Hardwood

  • Carpet, Tile & Vinyl (major risk of carrying viruses and bacteria)

  • Walls & Doors

  • Bathrooms & Kitchens

  • Warehouse & Logistic Equipment

How long does it take

The fogging process is rapid and efficient. Depending on the size of the area being treated, fogging can be carried out in as little as 15–30 minutes, enabling the mist to disperse and allow the product to attack the viruses and bacteria. After fogging, an additional period of 20 minutes is required to allow the droplets to settle out of the air and onto the surfaces.

  • When is fogging the
    right solution

The most obvious scenario is in the response to an infectious outbreak. But given the benefits of sanitisation and the heavy cost to organisations and people in lost output, disruption and welfare when infection spreads – we recommend having areas fogged monthly/quarterly to achieve a good level of protection. This is particularly relevant for premises where people may be more vulnerable to bacterial or viral infection. This might include aged care facilities, schools and universities, medical precincts, child care centres and like.

We're here to support

Fogging and other sanitisation measures should also feature in contingency planning for the winter season ahead and other times of heightened risk, such as a pneumonia and flu outbreak, which can happen at any time of year. If your premises would benefit from our proven solutions, give our team a call 1800 807 057.
