Celebrating Community and Opportunity

Eaton Services Group was proud to once again support the Somerville House Foundation Lunch, held on Friday 14 August at the beautiful Howard Smith Wharves.

It was a wonderful afternoon of connection, community and conversation, with our Business Development Manager, Emma Hopkinson, enjoying the opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and connect with Brisbane’s business community.

Emma also enjoyed spending time with Somerville House Principal Dr Deborah Priest, who has a long-standing personal connection to the school as a former Head of Senior School and parent of a Somerville Old Girl.

The event was hosted by Nine News Queensland presenter, Somerville Old Girl and current parent, Melissa Downes, who helped bring the afternoon together.

This year’s lunch focused on the importance of scholarships, helping create opportunities for talented students regardless of their circumstances, while honouring the legacies of past students whose stories continue to inspire.
