Our team recently had the pleasure of attending the Fatty & Sterlo – Coming to Eddies show, an unforgettable evening celebrating rugby league, laughter, and incredible stories. Held at St Edmunds College Ipswich, the event brought together fans for a night of live, uncensored insights from two of rugby league’s most iconic voices: Paul “Fatty” Vautin and Peter “Sterlo” Sterling.

The atmosphere was electric as Fatty and Sterlo shared their decades of experience – from Origin battles and behind-the-scenes chaos to media madness and legendary locker room moments. Whether you’re a die-hard footy fan or simply love a good yarn, this was an evening packed with laughs, nostalgia, and never-before-told stories from two of Australia’s greatest rugby league players.

Our team was thrilled to be part of the night, including our CEO Steven Tapsall, Compliance Officer Tracy Notaro, our Supervisors Debbie Burfoot and Anne Gibson, and our dedicated cleaners Eddie and Pium Edirimanna. The event was not just entertaining – it was for a great cause, raising funds for St Eddies' new sports hall.

The Spirit of St Eddies Shines Bright

Adding to the spirit, the St Eddy’s Year 11 and 12 boys served guests and played some fantastic old-school tunes, keeping the energy high throughout the night. A huge thank you to the St Eddies team for the invitation and to Darren J McCabe Photography for capturing the magic of the evening. It was a night of laughter, stories, and community spirit – one that we won’t soon forget.
