Eaton Services Group Supports National Road Safety Week 2025
11–18 May 2025
At Eaton Services Group, the safety of our team and the communities we serve is a priority every single day. As a commercial cleaning company with over 400 staff members working across South East Queensland, Northern NSW, the Sunshine Coast, and Melbourne, our team is constantly on the road—traveling between sites, responding to client needs, and supporting essential industries such as education, aged care, and commercial facilities.
That’s why we proudly support National Road Safety Week 2025, held from 11–18 May. This annual initiative, led by the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partners with government bodies and road safety advocates to highlight the tragic impacts of road trauma and the urgent need to reduce these incidents on our roads.
Why National Road Safety Week Matters
Every year in Australia:
🚗 More than 1,300 people lose their lives on the roads.
🚑 Over 40,000 people are seriously injured.
💔 In Queensland alone, we see around 269 lives lost and over 8,700 people seriously injured every year.
Most of these tragedies are preventable—and many are caused by human error or poor decisions. That’s why this week is so important. It’s a chance to pause, reflect, and recommit to safer driving habits—for ourselves, our families, and everyone sharing the road.
Our Commitment to Safer Roads
At Eaton Services Group, we’ve adopted a simple but powerful mindset:
"Drive as if your loved ones are on the road ahead."
To support this, we remind all team members to:
Remove distractions: Never use your phone while driving.
Slow down: Speeding increases risk—for everyone.
Stay alert: Don’t drive when tired or distracted.
Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Respect vulnerable road users: Slow down and give space to pedestrians, cyclists, and roadside workers.
We know many of our staff drive between multiple locations daily—and we want everyone to arrive home safely at the end of every shift. By embracing safer driving practices, we’re doing our part to protect not only our team but the wider community too.
Get Involved
National Road Safety Week is also a great opportunity for businesses, families, and individuals to reflect on how we can all improve road safety. For more information, visit the SARAH Group website.
