Staying Connected with Our Communities: CHAC Golf Day

At Eaton Services Group, we know that being a commercial cleaning and facility management company is about more than maintaining buildings and spaces, it’s about the people and communities that thrive within them. For us, community engagement isn’t just a checkbox, it’s part of our identity. We believe in leaving a legacy beyond our service contracts by actively seeking opportunities to support, engage, and uplift local communities. From environmental initiatives and volunteer programs to strategic partnerships, our team works to ensure our contributions are both meaningful and lasting.

One example of this commitment is our recent participation in the Cannon Hill Anglican College (CHAC) Golf Classic. Our CEO, Steven Tapsall, and our guests Mike Smith and Gill Vargas proudly joined the golfing community to fly the ESG flag, representing not just our organisation, but our values of connection and support.

The annual Golf Classic is more than just a day on the green - it’s about raising vital funds for future infrastructure projects at CHAC. These funds help provide future  student internships, bursaries, and additional resources that directly benefit the next generation.

We were honoured to be a CHAC Golf Day hole sponsor for the day, standing alongside other fantastic local organisations such as Carseldine Air Conditioning, Blue Apache, Kane Constructions, NGU Real Estate, and many more. Networking with like-minded businesses while enjoying the camaraderie of the event was a great day out.

Since its inception in 2000, the CHAC Golf Classic has become a much-anticipated event, attracting over 120 golfing enthusiasts each year. Held at the stunning Brisbane Golf Club in Yeerongpilly - one of Australia’s Top 100 courses with its heritage-listed clubhouse, the day offered a perfect blend of community spirit, celebration, and a little friendly competition.
