International Men’s Day 2025 — Celebrating Positive Male Role Models
At Eaton Services Group, we’re proud to recognise International Men’s Day—a day dedicated to celebrating the positive impact men have in our workplaces, families, and communities, and to raising awareness around men’s health and wellbeing.
Each year on November 19, International Men’s Day shines a light on the contributions of men and opens important conversations about manhood, masculinity, and the challenges men face. With approximately half of our workforce being male, it’s important to acknowledge that men are not always expected to be “strong” or “tough it out”. Life can be challenging, and support matters.
Current research reminds us that:
Men have a suicide rate three times higher than women
1 in 3 men have been victims of domestic violence
Men typically die 4–5 years earlier than women
Men are nearly twice as likely to develop lung cancer
Men are nearly twice as likely to suffer from heart disease
These realities highlight why November—a month dedicated to men’s health—is such an important time to check in, connect, and raise awareness.
